I am a (zoo) vet to be. I obviously love animals, but I also love science and medicine. At home I enjoy hanging out with my two dogs. While I joke about not really liking kids, ask me about my nephew's and I will pull out my iphone and bore you with hundreds of pictures and stories. Family is very important to me.

When I have the time/money I spend part of the year in a foreign country volunteering my time with an animal shelter or wildlife project. The area of the world I try and get back to as much as possible is southern Africa. In my free time at home I enjoy hanging out with my two dogs. My vizsla loves to go on runs with me as long as its not raining unfortunately for him my favorite time to run in in the rain. I also love to train for triathlons though school has cut into the number of races I have been able to do dramatically. One day I would love to compete in a half ironman, not sure about a full. I like to keep busy but I enjoy curling up with a good book on a rainy day.

"m looking for someone who can push me intellectually and emotionally. Someone who likes trying new things and pushes me to get out of my comfort zone. I am pretty busy so I need someone who has their own things going on in their life, and does not need to rely on me to entertain them all of the time.
